This course is a nationally recognised qualification which will provide a pathway for you to work in the community services sector. This qualification reflects the role of entry level community services workers who will support individuals and families using person-centred services. At the Certificate III in Community Services level, your role may include day-to-day support of individuals in community settings or support the implementation of specific community-based programs.
You will develop skills in communication, responding to the needs of clients, safety and duty of care and organisation skills when working in health and community focused organisations. Some students who have enrolled in this course have gone on to study the in Community Services and other students have gone on to work in a range of community and health services organisations.
