The Diploma in Elementary Education is a mandatory for all teachers who wish to teach at primary or secondary schools (classes 6 to 10). The minimum eligibility required to receive admission in a course offering this diploma is to pass standard 12 from a recognized board or school. Students are admitted to this course on the grounds of merit achieved by the student in Standard 12 exams and an entrance exam. This course can be opted for as a classroom or distance learning.
